Wei-Nien Lu's Award-Winning Design Transforms Living Spaces into Elegant, Personal Sanctuaries

The inspiration behind "Tipsy" lies in the desire to break free from the humdrum of daily life. Lu envisions the living space as a moment of tasting, a place where homeowners can immerse themselves in their own life stories. The realization of "Tipsy" involved the use of various materials, including glass, mirror, stone, wood, and metal. The design spans a total of 140.5 square meters, offering a spacious yet intimate setting. The project was completed in 2016 in Taipei, Taiwan, with the assistance of a dedicated team comprising Ming-Yu Tsai, Yi-Wen Wang, Chih-Shan Huang, and Yan-Zih Lin.
