Creating a Boundary-Free Living Space Filled with Warmth and Light

Taking into consideration the client's preferences, Chien-Ming Lai, a renowned designer, has created an exceptional interior design called "Warm and White." This design primarily paints the entire space in white, making it feel bright and spacious. The public areas seamlessly flow into one another, creating a boundary-free living space that is perfect for family gatherings and entertaining guests.

The design skillfully incorporates wooden elements, such as the TV and entranceway wall, as well as a hollow ceiling, adding warmth and texture to the space. These elements not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also make the indoor space feel more open and filled with sunlight.

In the combined kitchen and dining area, a large bar serves as the focal point, making this space the primary living area for the family. The bathroom, furnished with a bathtub by the window, offers a wonderful spot for relaxation and stress relief, thanks to its great view.

This stunning interior design spans a total of square meters and was completed in 2016 in Taiwan. The project involved renovating two originally abutted residences in Taoyuan City, transforming them into a complete 60-pin space filled with daylight.

Chien-Ming Lai faced several creative and technical challenges while working on this design. The deformed curved area, remodeled from a balcony, the wooden platform deck, and the white window wall were all carefully integrated to create a welcoming and harmonious public space.

Recognized for its excellence, "Warm and White" was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
