The entrance of the game centre sets the tone for the entire space. A feature wall and doorway, made up of a series of hexagonal patterned metal features, create a sense of stepping into a spaceship. The high gloss paint finishes, ranging from white to blue and purple, mimic the colors of the universe. With the addition of fixtures and lighting, visitors are transported to a sci-fi world, where the boundaries between reality and fiction blur.
As visitors venture further into the game centre, they are greeted by walls adorned with flat matte paint finishes in different colors. Ornamental light troughs add a touch of urban atmosphere and evoke a sense of voyage passion. The columns, which are typically an eyesore in most spaces, are cleverly concealed with aluminum and stainless steel covers. LED light troughs transform these columns into illuminating spaceship turbine engines, enhancing the overall design theme.
The flooring of the game centre features hexagonal patterned ceramic tiles in shades of blue and grey, complementing the overall design. The main design feature, however, lies in the false ceiling. A beehive-shaped structure, painted in purple-blue flat matte finish, dominates most of the ceiling area. LED lights inside these beehives simulate large skylights in a spaceship, while the exposed black ceiling represents the infinite star ocean beyond. As the ceiling extends further into the interior, the design style transitions to more dimensional block patterns, symbolizing the ever-changing nature of future technology.
The service counter, resembling the entrance of a spaceship, is the first stop for visitors. The counter's finish represents the skyline of a futuristic city and is highlighted by LED strips. The feature wall behind the counter continues the beehive setting, creating a cohesive design language throughout the space.
