The inspiration for the design of the Happiness Lane Club comes from the rich cultural heritage of Shanghai. Huang Quan, the designer, carefully studied the history and culture of the city, seeking to explore its humanistic and aesthetic spirit. By applying a contemporary taste for beauty in the interior, the design pays homage to the past while embracing the present.
One of the unique features of the Happiness Lane Club is its integration with the surrounding landscape. Situated in Happiness Lane Park, the club blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The designer has taken inspiration from both Eastern and Western cultures, combining contemporary and traditional elements to create a space that is both elegant and inviting.
The materials used in the realization of the design further enhance its unique properties. From white latex paint to laminate flooring, black wiring Titanium stainless steel to Shanxi black marble, every element has been carefully chosen to contribute to the overall aesthetic. The use of materials such as Sicily gray marble and Anticorrosive wood floor adds a touch of luxury and sophistication to the space.
The Happiness Lane Club offers a range of functions, including conventions, residence, catering, and entertainment. It is a self-supporting space that caters to the needs of the G-Art Design firm, providing a place for board meetings, corporate campaigns, and other activities. The design focuses on creating a space that is not overly luxurious or extravagant, but instead promotes a plain and simple lifestyle that is conducive to greatness.
The Happiness Lane Club was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2017 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category.
