A Residence Designed by Pi-Lan Hsu

The design of "Rooting in Prosperity" by Pi-Lan Hsu is a unique and captivating residence that combines modern art, thoughtful composition, and meticulous attention to detail. With its geometric lines and carefully selected materials, this design creates a space that exudes purity and tranquility, allowing users to immerse themselves in its peaceful ambiance.

The exterior facade of the residence features dark brown stone tiles seamlessly constructed to create a humble luster. The distribution of white contexture resembles life stories hung on a tree, adding a sense of nature and purification to the design. The careful composition of materials and colors creates a pliable aura that flows throughout the space, enhancing its overall atmosphere.

Inside the residence, the designer has woven different colors of linen, gray, and walnut to create a harmonious and graceful aesthetic. This color palette, combined with classic design elements, responds to the owner's desire for a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The dropping silk curtains with venetian blinds allow for the manipulation of light and shade, creating a dynamic interplay between different textures and generating a gentle twilight ambiance.

The design of "Rooting in Prosperity" also pays attention to the distribution of seam lines, particularly in the entrance hall. The geometric aesthetics of the main wall, with rectangular iron frames embedded with mirror plates, catch natural light and reflect mesmerizing images, adding a sense of rhythm and movement to the facade. This thoughtful arrangement not only enhances the visual appeal but also serves as a guiding path for the diligent owner.

Completed in February 2017 in Taichung City, Taiwan, "Rooting in Prosperity" is a testament to the designer's creative vision and technical expertise. The design project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2017, recognizing its outstanding and ingenious incorporation of art, science, design, and technology. This accolade highlights the design's contribution to improving the quality of life and making the world a better place.
