The concept behind the Vila Leopoldina Loft was to create an integrated space that reflects the modern lifestyle of its owner, a young musical and advertisements actor. The loft's social and intimate areas are separated only by a curtain, reminiscent of a theatrical scene. This design choice not only adds a touch of drama but also maximizes the use of space.
The entire structure of the apartment is covered in burnt cement, including the floor, walls, and ceiling. This neutral backdrop serves as a canvas for an unusual mix of shades of burgundy, lilac, purple, and yellow. The result is a visually striking and contemporary living space.
One of the unique features of the Vila Leopoldina Loft is the intimate area, which was designed with comfort in mind. The closet, bathroom, and tub are cleverly separated by creating a gap and using natural wood for the floor. This integration creates an atmosphere reminiscent of a spa or a luxurious bathing room. Additionally, a small office with acoustic isolation was created within this area, allowing the owner to work from home.
The kitchen, with its gray structure and burgundy cabinetry, features a yellow top that serves as both an eating area and a food preparation area. This bold architectural solution breaks the color scheme and adds a modern and cheerful touch to the apartment. The top is positioned at the same height as the stove and the dining table, creating a cohesive and functional space.
Despite its compact size, the Vila Leopoldina Loft offers a practical and contemporary lifestyle without compromising on beauty. The contrast between the cement, colors, and wood creates a harmonious and visually stunning environment.
Designed by architect Diego Revollo, the Vila Leopoldina Loft is a testament to innovative design and thoughtful use of space. Its modern aesthetic and integrated living concept make it a truly unique and inspiring living space.
