The Stone Plant Sculpture is a cube measuring 130 x 130 x 130 cm, made of Jurassic limestone and yew hedge plants. This minimalist garden, a European interpretation of Japanese Zen Gardens, was born out of Dagenbach's long-standing search for a European equivalent of Japanese garden designs. The sculpture's uniqueness lies in its simplicity - two materials, plant and stone, forming a simple shape.

The sculpture was created as part of a joint venture between the Franken Schotter Quarry and the Bruns nursery. The limestone was sourced from a South German Quarry of the Franken Schotter Company, while the yew hedge plants were provided by Bruns Nursery. The stone was cut and chiseled to give it an aged look, and the plants were pruned to the final size after planting.

The Stone Plant Sculpture is not just a visual treat but also a low-maintenance garden. The hedges require pruning three times a year, and the stone needs a yearly cleaning with simple water using a high-pressure cleaner. The sculpture's placement on a flat piece of lawn is essential for its visual impact.

The sculpture's journey began in 2002 in Bad Zwischenahn, North Germany, where it stood in front of the administrative office of Bruns Nursery. In 2015, it was moved to The United World College in Dilijan, Armenia, where it is now permanently installed at the Prince of Wales avenue.

The Stone Plant Sculpture was awarded Silver in A' Street and City Furniture Design Award in 2017. The award recognizes top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
