Zhong Bang Aigemei, designed by Tu Pochun, is an interior design project that redefines the concept of privacy and freedom within a residence. The main goal of this design is to guarantee a sense of privacy and freedom, and this is achieved by integrating the bathroom into the open space of the bedroom. Instead of hiding in a corner, the bathtub becomes the centerpiece of the room, placed in front of the windows to provide the best view and accompany the master during intimate moments.
The design of Zhong Bang Aigemei is characterized by the use of yellow titanium plates, white paint, and ostrich skin hard packaging. These materials are generously used throughout the space, creating an atmosphere of luxury and elegance without being overly extravagant. The living room is seamlessly combined with a New York-style open kitchen, allowing the master to hold parties and enjoy the beauty of life while cooking for friends.
The technical specifications of Zhong Bang Aigemei are as follows: Width 16235 mm x Depth 15523 mm x Height 3000 mm. The design team, led by Tu Pochun, also included Wang Chihyun.
The ultimate refinement of Zhong Bang Aigemei is reflected in the meticulous attention to detail. From the golden plates and Czech crystal glass mosaic to the leather sofa and fur cushions, every element is carefully chosen to create a sense of grace and elegance. The design also incorporates a piano paint tea table, bar chairs, German diamond fabric curtains, and Italy's top bathroom faucet, further enhancing the luxurious atmosphere.
Zhong Bang Aigemei was completed in April 2016 in Shanghai. The design process involved extensive research and creative problem-solving. The oval structure of the space presented both challenges and opportunities for the designer. To maximize the use of natural light, cabinets were strategically placed along the walls, allowing sunlight to bathe the gallery area. The result is a three-dimensional space that surrounds and comforts the viewer.
The project successfully breaks the boundaries of the existing construction, creating a new and flowing space that exudes a sense of freedom. With windows covering three-quarters of the walls, the design provides a generous view of the modern city. No matter where one stands, the openness and relaxation of the space can be enjoyed, thanks to the beautiful surrounding landscape.
Zhong Bang Aigemei was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2017. This prestigious award recognizes designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving the quality of life. Tu Pochun's design showcases strong technical and creative skills, making Zhong Bang Aigemei a truly remarkable and innovative interior design project.
