Alonso de Garay's Corporate Dining Rooms: A Blend of Elegance and Functionality

The Corporate Dining Rooms project was inspired by the dual nature of the financial world - the precision of the industry and the human activity at its core. The space functions as a work area and an informal meeting zone for executives and clients, offering a relaxed formality and tranquil sobriety. The design is characterized by warm materials such as wood and leather, creating an inviting and comfortable environment.

The unique properties of this design lie in its peaceful and elegant atmosphere. A corridor of fine wood leads to a small reception area, with soft light emanating from above and below the walls. The heart of the project is the industrial kitchen, surrounded by corridors that provide access to various rooms. The furniture, specially designed for this project, blends materials such as leather, textiles, woods, fibers, and black marble, adding to the overall elegance of the space.

The design was realized using a combination of industrial and organic elements, suggesting both firmness and flexibility. Wood, the main element used in walls, doors, corridors, and ceilings, lends the general atmosphere both the warmth and the reliability that characterize the client’s firm. The design spans 1200 square meters, providing ample space for work and leisure activities.

The project started in 2014 in Mexico City and was completed in May 2016. The design team included Alonso de Garay as the designer and Micaela de Bernardi, who was responsible for furniture selection and design. The project was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in 2017, a testament to the team's exceptional design skills and creativity.
