Utilizing simple plastic producing technologies, BAL incorporates various features such as movement tracking sensors, air sensors, sound sensors, projection parts, OLED screen technologies, Wi-Fi sensors, and IoT connectivity. The BAL project began in April 2017 in Istanbul and was completed within four weeks. Its innovative design and functionality earned it a nomination for the IMMIB Design Awards in May, and it was ultimately awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Digital and Electronic Device Design category in September 2018.

Caner Aras conducted extensive research to develop BAL, including studying infographics, observing the habits and needs of homeworkers, and identifying the challenges they face. The result is a smart device that not only assists in daily work tasks but also enhances the overall working experience.
