Designer Mehdi Moazzen drew inspiration from the mystical creatures of Iranian art to create the Div e Sepid Bracelet. The piece is an integrative form of a bird and the beast, specifically the Simurgh and Div e Sepid, the White Demon. In Iranian mythology, birds symbolize the soul, while beasts represent both evil and knowledge. Moazzen's design captures the essence of these mythological creatures, infusing them with a modern twist.

What sets the Div e Sepid Bracelet apart is its fusion of traditional Persian painting and goldsmith techniques. Moazzen, with his background in Iranian design and jewelry manufacturing, sought to create a new field in jewelry crafts by combining these two art forms. The realization of the Div e Sepid Bracelet involved meticulous craftsmanship. Each piece in the Love Manifestation series, to which the bracelet belongs, was individually crafted by sawing and welding joints to perfection. Gems, including a stunning Green Sapphire and Topaz, were then carefully installed. The final touch was the creation of shades through the insertion of patina, adding depth and character to the design.

With dimensions of 145.00mm in length, 42.07mm in height, and weighing 21.660 grams, the Div e Sepid Bracelet is a statement piece that demands attention. The Green Sapphire, with a weight of 5.80ct and dimensions of 12.75mm x 10.11mm, adds a touch of elegance, while the Topaz, weighing 2.50ct and measuring 9.08mm x 6.84mm, brings a vibrant pop of color.

The Div e Sepid Bracelet not only showcases exceptional craftsmanship but also offers a unique interaction with light. Moazzen suggests that the use of tiny brilliant cut diamonds as secondary gems would enhance the reflection, creating a mesmerizing play of light and sparkle.

The Div e Sepid Bracelet was created in Sari, Iran, with the project commencing in July 2015 and concluding in July 2015. Throughout the design process, Moazzen delved into Iranian classical paintings, myths, and poems, conducting extensive research to ensure the authenticity and beauty of the final piece.

Overcoming the challenge of translating classical Iranian poems and paintings into jewelry form, Moazzen successfully transformed these timeless works of art into wearable masterpieces. The Div e Sepid Bracelet is a testament to his creativity, technical expertise, and dedication to preserving and reinterpreting Iranian cultural heritage.
