Designed by Chao-Chien Huang, the Postmodern Aesthetics project showcases a unique blend of classical and modern styles. With a focus on interior design, this project redefines luxury and elegance.

At the foyer, the stone walls adorned with gold plating exude an atmosphere of elegant luxury. The frosted-metal wall surfaces add a touch of sophistication. Behind one of the walls, a cleverly furnished cloakroom maximizes space, creating a sense of openness.

The kitchen and personal spaces, symmetrically located on each side of the dining room, express a noble style with golden-metal walls. The adjoining kitchen features black-wooden veneers with golden plating, creating an exquisite postmodern atmosphere.

Spanning 245 square meters, this space is meticulously designed to provide both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The master bedroom features an exquisite headboard and a wall that serves as both a TV wall and a dressing table, cleverly separating two independent spaces. The spacious walk-in closet adds to the overall satisfaction of the room. In the guest room, a large floor-to-ceiling window and a delicate wooden bedside table create a comforting atmosphere.

The project, located in Taichung City, Taiwan, was completed in 2017. The avant-garde aesthetics, achieved through the combination of titanium plates and marble frameworks, transformed the original layout into a clear and grand space. This design successfully captures the essence of postmodern aesthetics while honoring family traditions.

The design process was not without its challenges. The large public area required careful consideration, and the installation of a glass wall between the living and study room visually expanded the space. The sloped beams in the living room magically enhanced the vertical scale, while the column seamlessly integrated with the glass wall, maintaining a consistent layout. The thick TV wall adorned with metal panels added a unique visual effect.

The Postmodern Aesthetics project, designed by Chao-Chien Huang and his team, has received recognition for its excellence. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The project's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics contributes to a better world.
