The House of Light, as its name suggests, is a residence that revels in the abundant sunlight it receives. The design's unique properties lie in its strategic use of glass and open spaces, allowing sunlight to permeate every corner of the house. The staircases, constructed with a steel structure, are a striking feature that ascends between the living and dining rooms, further enhancing the flow of light.
The design's realization technology is equally impressive. The color palette is dominated by light hues, complemented by black and white, creating a serene and sophisticated atmosphere. The main walls, adorned with beige travertines, exude grandeur, while the tall silver-grey marbles spanning the five floors amplify the house's majestic aura.
With a generous space of 377 square meters, the House of Light is a testament to the potential of expansive design layouts. The consistent design extends from the living and dining room to the kitchen, creating a warm and inviting living environment. The residence's interaction with its inhabitants is thus characterized by comfort and ease.
The project was completed in January 2018, after overcoming several design challenges. The client, who spends most of their time abroad, required a unique architectural solution that would ensure a pleasant living experience. The result is the House of Light, a residence that not only meets the client's needs but also stands as a symbol of architectural excellence.
The House of Light's accolades are a testament to its innovative design. It was awarded Silver in the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2018, a prestigious recognition given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. This award-winning design, admired for its strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, is indeed a beacon of light in the realm of residential design.
