RCR draws inspiration from the desire to create a new system of sustainable hospitality that doesn't compromise on high-level comfort while promoting well-being and harmony. Unlike traditional high-rise hotels that often disrupt the natural landscape, RCR is carefully integrated into the vineyard mountain setting, creating a harmonious blend of architecture and nature.
The design of RCR is characterized by its quasi-futuristic structure, featuring rounded and flowing forms that seamlessly blend with the surrounding environment. Each suite is equipped with modern technologies and boasts a private terrace complete with comfortable rooms, picnic areas, an outside shower, and a pool that reflects the sky, creating a mesmerizing ambiance for night-time dips.
One of the key strengths of RCR is its ability to offer guests both privacy and direct contact with nature. The low-rise constructions are arranged in a series of rows and terraces, forming an amphitheater-like structure adjacent to the river coastline. This design allows each suite to offer different angles of spectacular views, providing guests with a sense of tranquility and the opportunity to connect with nature.
RCR is not only visually stunning but also environmentally friendly. The buildings are almost fully self-sustainable, running on solar, thermal, and hydropower. The roof structure serves multiple purposes, generating shade from the sun, providing hot water, and offering an evocative vine gazebo that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The use of natural and artificial elements creates a quasi-futuristic realm where technology meets sustainability to harness the power of nature.
The guest experience at RCR is carefully curated to ensure a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. The terraced design of the resort leads guests through a labyrinth of intimate outdoor spaces, ultimately guiding them to the riverside where they can fully immerse themselves in the breathtaking views. The resort also features a variety of facilities, including wine bars, restaurants with open fireplaces, a billiard and cigar room, an outdoor stage, a fitness club, a wine-based spa, a mini-conference room, a kid's playroom, and reception and service facilities.
RCR is a testament to the designer's commitment to creating a sustainable and unique hospitality experience. Its integration with the natural landscape, use of renewable energy sources, and focus on guest comfort and well-being make it a true gem in the world of eco-luxury tourism.
