The design of JR Wines - The Experience was inspired by the raw materials found in the vineyards, specifically the beautiful basalt stone and olive tree wood. Amer Abidi, the designer, explains, "We were deeply inspired by the natural elements readily available in the vineyards, and we wanted to incorporate them into the design to create a rich and authentic atmosphere."

The interior of the wine tasting bar is composed of these natural elements, with the live-show wine cellar serving as the heart of the space. The cellar, reaching a height of four meters, is the focal point of the design, with waiters climbing ladders to fetch bottles based on the sommelier's precise instructions. This unique feature adds to the overall experience and allows customers to witness the inner workings of the wine cellar.

The communal seating arrangement in the wine tasting bar was a creative solution to overcome the challenge of limited space. Despite the small area, the design intelligently focuses on the product and creates a communal atmosphere that encourages interaction and conversation among customers. Each communal table is led by an expert sommelier who passionately explains the complexities of the wines being tasted, creating a truly immersive experience for the customers.

The design also incorporates visual references to the winery's history, with gallery walls displaying images dating back almost 200 years. This adds a sense of heritage and tradition to the space, further enhancing the overall experience for visitors.
