The inspiration for The Wanderer came from Cameron's frustration with traditional dopp kits. He found himself constantly searching for items and wanted a solution that would keep everything easily accessible without cluttering the sink. The idea of a travel dopp kit that could convert into a tray was born.
What sets The Wanderer apart is its ability to unfold into a tray, providing a contained space for toiletries while still keeping them easily accessible. The designers focused on creating a clean, minimal aesthetic, with a geometric silhouette and clean lines. The single-piece folding design eliminates the need for exterior stitching, resulting in a sleek and streamlined product.
The Wanderer is made from high-quality materials to withstand the rigors of travel. It features full grain leather with a semi-aniline protective coating on the exterior, providing durability and a luxurious feel. The interior is lined with water-resistant canvas, making it easy to clean and maintain.
Measuring 10" wide, 4" tall, and with a 4" gusset, The Wanderer offers ample space for all your travel essentials. Its compact size makes it ideal for fitting into any bag or suitcase, ensuring you can take it with you wherever you go.
Designed in February 2017 and launched publicly in May of the same year in Los Angeles, California, The Wanderer has quickly gained recognition for its innovative design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Fashion and Travel Accessories category in 2018. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
The Wanderer is not only a functional travel kit but also a stylish accessory that embodies simplicity, functionality, and geometric aesthetics. Its unique design and high-quality craftsmanship make it a must-have for any traveler who values both practicality and style.
