Jam Jar: A Design for Efficiently Extracting Every Last Bit of Jam

Revolutionizing the Way We Enjoy Jam

The jam jar is designed as an inclined bottom structure, allowing for maximum extraction of jam with ease and efficiency.

Wei Jingye, Li Gangchi, and Zhang Ruiqi have created a game-changing design that will forever change the way we enjoy jam. The innovative jam jar features an inclined bottom structure, ensuring that every last bit of jam can be easily extracted. This design not only enhances the user experience but also promotes sustainability and resource conservation.

The unique property of the jam jar lies in its inclined bottom structure. When only a little jam is left in the bottle, it naturally flows to one side due to gravity. The specially designed bottom is shaped to accommodate the common spoon, allowing the jam to gather in a concentrated area. This ingenious design ensures that no jam goes to waste, as it can be fully extracted with ease.

The jam jar is crafted primarily from glass, a material known for its durability and hygienic properties. The bottle cap is designed as snap joint assemblies, providing a tight seal that allows for repeated use. This not only saves resources but also reduces waste, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

The realization of this design is made possible through the use of identity die property in the workshop. The bottle body is made of glass, while the bottle cap utilizes a rubber sealing ring and stainless steel lock. This combination of materials ensures the longevity and functionality of the jam jar, making it a reliable and sustainable option for jam lovers.

Designed with efficiency and convenience in mind, the jam jar offers a simple yet effective solution for extracting jam. By placing the jam in the jar and spooning it out, users can easily access every last bit of jam. The inclined bottom structure ensures that the jam gradually gathers on one side, making it easily accessible for extraction.

The development of the jam jar project began in January 2017 in Shenyang and was completed in September of the same year. This innovative design will be showcased in May 2018 at the museum of LuXun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang, where it will undoubtedly captivate visitors with its ingenuity and practicality.

The jam jar design is a result of extensive research and modification of existing jam jars. The goal was to create a more convenient, efficient, and environmentally friendly option that aligns with contemporary green design concepts. Through careful calculations and experiments, the design team successfully overcame the challenge of coordinating the title angle of the inclined plane with the width and height of the jam jar.

This groundbreaking design has not gone unnoticed, as it was awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2018. This accolade recognizes the jam jar's well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements. It is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings while contributing to a better world.
