The timepiece and ultra modern buildings share the same geometric forms and modernist ideals that the Ultra Modern movement is known for. This unique design showcases the fusion of art, architecture, and horology, creating a watch that is not only a timekeeping device but also a work of art.
The Architect's core features a sapphire glass with a femto laser engraved pattern. With two stripes for each of the sixty minutes, the pattern inside the glass serves as the minute markers. The sapphire glass is protected by a stainless steel case made with ultra-precise wire-edm technology, ensuring durability and precision.
The realization of this design required innovative technology and craftsmanship. The exoskeleton with thin walls was produced using additive wire-edm of 316L stainless steel. The sapphire glass, machined out of a single billet of sapphire block, features the intricate pattern produced by FEMTOprint, a proprietary 3D printing technology that utilizes ultra-fast laser radiation for submicron resolution.
Technical specifications of The Architect include a case size of 40 x 50 mm, a case thickness of 9 mm, and a strap size of 24 mm. The watch is powered by a Swiss Made automatic movement made by Vaucher, ensuring accurate timekeeping.
Designed over the course of a year, The Architect is the result of extensive research, design, refinement, and development. The project demanded a deep understanding of the historical design of luxury wristwatches, as well as the latest materials and technologies. The challenge was to create an elegant analog luxury timepiece that is unconventional, ultra modern, and authentic, while still maintaining clear and unmistakable time readability.
Fratizelli - The Architect is a testament to the harmonious blend of art, architecture, and horology. With its unique design and precise craftsmanship, it stands as a symbol of innovation and sophistication in the world of luxury watches.
