Creating a Natural and Artistic Living Space

At the heart of the Villa Riviera's design is the desire to create a home that is natural, vivid, artistic, and changeable. The designers focused on introducing natural lighting into every corner of the house, using the changing light of the four seasons to create different atmospheres. Each space is carefully designed to reflect the color system of the natural theme, resulting in a harmonious and visually appealing environment.

With an area of 380 square meters, every space in this house has been meticulously crafted to reflect the owner's artistic sensibilities. The visual aesthetics are seamlessly integrated with stylish connotations, creating a space that is both visually stunning and functional.

The realization of the Villa Riviera's design is a testament to the ingenuity of the designers. The entrance features a top skylight, allowing natural light to flood the space. The second-floor wall has been replaced with transparent glass, connecting the first and second floors and allowing the natural light to enter the room. This design choice not only brings in ample natural light but also creates beautiful light and shadow effects that enhance the overall ambiance of the house.

The Villa Riviera's specifications further highlight its unique design. The basement is connected to the top floor, and wooden partitions are used to separate the outdoor garden, reflecting the natural sunshine. The Villa Riviera project began in March 2017 and was completed in March 2018 in Shanghai. The designers, Willie Zhang and Lin Sheng, conducted extensive research to ensure that the design incorporated the latest trends and techniques. The combination of light and shadow was a key focus, creating a fashionable and elegant living space that is both visually appealing and functional.

Despite the challenges posed by the building structure and the owner's specific requirements, the designers successfully overcame these obstacles. The limitation of natural lighting and ventilation in the original basement was addressed through innovative design choices, and the integration of visual beauty and style connotation was achieved through careful planning and execution.
