Gemdale Zhenyue Sales Center: A New Modernism Masterpiece

Ma Hui's Award-Winning Design Balances Life, Art, Sense, and Sensibility

The Gemdale Zhenyue Sales Center stands out for its unique properties. It is not just a practical space; it is an art gallery of modernism, purity, and aestheticism. The dominating luxury gray tone offers a calm and peaceful ambiance, while the skylight introduces natural light, creating a dialogue with the waterfall on the wall. This interaction between light and water offers visitors a respite from the hustle and bustle, immersing them in a unique tranquility that blends nature and art.

Ma Hui's design is a product of careful study of the region, spaces, materials, and technologies. The design also takes into account the lifestyle and experiences of the middle class, striking a balance between life and art, sense and sensibility. This balance is evident in the well-arranged space adorned with simple and elegant stone furniture, dark-colored tartan carpet, light-colored plain sofas, and pure white flowers. The large French window connects the interior space with the outdoor landscapes, providing visitors with a breathtaking view.

The Gemdale Zhenyue Sales Center is an upgrade project of the Gemdale Eminence Series. After 14 years of exploration and practice in Tianjin, the Gemdale Group has created a classical residential development in Binhai New Area, integrating the land value with modern living ideas. This project, completed in November 2018, covers an area of 1184 square meters and is a testament to the value of the city.

Designing the Gemdale Zhenyue Sales Center was not without challenges. The Tianjin Binhai New Area is a developing and ecological state-level urban district that deserves a name card. Based on the urban context, the product positioning, and the middle class aesthetic values, Ma Hui had to innovate to break the original pattern, creating a sales center that integrates art with aesthetics.

The Gemdale Zhenyue Sales Center is not just a design; it is a work of art. It was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2019. This award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
