Modern Stand: A Unique Exhibition Stand by Marzena Michalska

Transforming Exhibition Space into a Modern House

Marzena Michalska, a designer from Smart Design Expo, has created a unique exhibition stand named the Modern Stand. Inspired by the Anwis product line, the stand is designed to resemble a modern house, providing a natural environment for the presentation of Anwis blinds. The stand's unique properties lie in its innovative use of materials and its presentation of products in various nuances, including real exhibits, photography, and virtual space.

The Modern Stand is a 160sqm structure made from concrete, poplar plywood, and black lacquered steel. The stand's facade features 1,150 strips of plywood of varying thickness set in cement, creating an attention-grabbing construction. The walls, standing at a height of 5.5m, house products that have been deliberately rescaled. The stand also features nine window openings measuring 3.30 x 1.55m, where modern blinds are mounted.

The stand's design was realized using innovative technology. A powerful monolith with a length of 7m was given lightness through backlighting from the bottom. The counter, made in three modules for functional reasons, features a huge decoration made of laser-cut wooden wheels, a design element that refers to the shape of the Anwis logo.

The Modern Stand was designed to showcase the international capabilities of Anwis, a Polish company. The design process began six months before the exhibition, allowing ample time to find the best solutions to let visitors experience the space and products. The project was improved over ten times to ensure it perfectly represented the Anwis brand.

Marzena Michalska's Modern Stand was recognized for its innovative design and was awarded Silver in the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2019. The award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, strong technical characteristics, and splendid artistic skill.
