Visual Identity

This design represents and reminds its members of the company values of creativity, innovation, action, and empathy. Little Red Riding Hood symbolizes the fusion of creativity and innocence with innovation and determination, giving character to the service.

The logo was created using a Slate tablet for the initial sketch and then refined in Adobe Illustrator. The colors used are PANTONE Bright Red C (C 72.8%, M 2.93%, Y 15.35%, K 0%), and the fonts used are SchulVokalDotless and Planet Estyle.

This logo design features wide typography with its own character, created geometrically. The prominent use of red, reminiscent of Little Red Riding Hood, gives the logo a strong presence. The figure of Little Red Riding Hood creates a void in the letter R, adding visual interest and depth to the design.

The project started in December 2015 in Bilbao and was completed in April 2016. Extensive research was conducted on the Perrault stories, their morals, and social contexts. Little Red Riding Hood was chosen as the central figure to reflect the social and labor context of contemporary women. The design aimed to transform the passive role of Little Red Riding Hood into an active, empowered woman, drawing inspiration from comic book heroines like Wonder Woman.

The biggest challenge in creating this design was to portray Little Red Riding Hood in a pose that conveyed action and determination without appearing aggressive. The resulting logo encapsulates the essence of storytelling, creativity, and playfulness.

This design has won the Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category in 2019. The award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. It is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
