Potemkin Vintage Brandy: Redefining Elegance and Sophistication

Revitalizing the Premium Segment of Potemkin Brandy

The rebranding of Potemkin Vintage Brandy's premium segment has brought a new level of sophistication to the Ukrainian market.

Potemkin Vintage Brandy, a well-established brand in Ukraine, has undergone a comprehensive rebranding to elevate its premium segment. Led by renowned designer Valerii Sumilov, the project aimed to develop a brand concept that would reflect the status and image of the trademark, effectively highlighting the product on the grocery shelf and increasing sales.

The new design for Potemkin Vintage Brandy sets it apart from its competitors. The square-shaped bottle, which has become a recognizable feature of the brand, now showcases a logo made of dense aluminum on the front side. This change not only enhances the brand's visual appeal but also improves the readability of the logo from any angle.

One of the key challenges of the rebranding process was to create a label that covers not only the front but also the two lateral sides of the bottle. This innovative solution allows for additional communication between the consumer and the brand, inviting them to explore and engage with the product.

The design of Potemkin Vintage Brandy incorporates modern print and post-printing technologies, such as embossing, stamping, and special tactile polish. These techniques, combined with high-quality paper, deliver a visually and tactilely pleasing experience for customers when they interact with the product in stores.

Valerii Sumilov and his team, including designer Noizman Val, have successfully transformed Potemkin Vintage Brandy into a symbol of elegance and sophistication. The rebranding project, which began in autumn 2018 in Kiev, Ukraine, has revitalized the brand and positioned it as a leader in the premium brandy market.

This exceptional design has been recognized for its excellence, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in 2019. The award acknowledges the outstanding creativity and ingenuity of the design, which incorporates best practices in art, science, design, and technology, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for consumers.
