Colombo: A Perfect Kitchen Living Interior Design

Combining Modern Minimalism and Luxury Classic

The designers of Kharchenko Studios set out to create a kitchen design that goes beyond traditional materials and coverings. The goal was to create a complex yet elegant texture that would make the Colombo design stand out.

Modern technologies were employed in the production of this kitchen. Natural stone was used for the interior, panels, and countertops, while stone facades were incorporated into the kitchen island. The facades were created using plywood and a special press, resulting in a high-quality texture. The texture was then covered with paint, offering a wide range of colors to choose from and the ability to seamlessly blend with any interior.

The dimensions of the Colombo kitchen include a 910mm height, 1200mm depth, and 5200mm length for the island. The overall kitchen dimensions, including the hood, are 4800mm in length and 910mm in height. The walls in the room stand at 2900mm in height, with long sections featuring household appliances measuring 4410mm in length and 2300mm in height. Another long section with glass measures 4000mm in length and 2300mm in height.

Colombo offers a wide range of sections and modules, making it a versatile solution for kitchen and living area planning. The designers at Kharchenko Studio have created a product that can be combined with almost any interior, allowing for scale production.

The Colombo kitchen design project began in August 2018 in Dubai, UAE, and was completed in January 2019 in Vlotho, Germany. Throughout the design process, the team faced the challenge of building a superb door panel structure, which they successfully overcame.

Colombo has been awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2019. This prestigious award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Colombo design stands out for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
