NetBramha Studios has transformed the property management landscape with its award-winning mobile application, Emaar One. This innovative solution consolidates all property management processes into one digital platform, making it easier for property owners to manage their assets.

Emaar One was born out of a need to simplify the property management process for customers of Emaar, a leading real estate developer in the UAE. The challenge lay in the fact that key tasks and features were scattered across various channels, both digital and offline. NetBramha Studios designed Emaar One as a one-stop digital solution, streamlining all processes and functionalities into a single mobile app.

The uniqueness of Emaar One lies in its strategic design thinking and process re-alignment. This allowed the entire offline process to be implemented into a single mobile app, resulting in a total transformation for both the company and the customer. Emaar One offers a range of features, including raising service requests through voice, monitoring real-time construction progress, document cloud, and seamless payments. It is a go-to app for property owners, providing them with a worry-free property ownership experience.

The realization of Emaar One involved the use of design thinking methodology, design sprints, user research, process mapping, prototyping for digital interface, brand personification, and rendering, as well as app design and development. The team at NetBramha Studios adopted a top-down approach, with information flowing downwards from the properties a user owns. They prototyped multiple iterations to perfect a modular card design system, creating illustrations and interactions using colors and characters familiar to the UAE audience.

Extensive primary and secondary research in the UAE led to strategic insights that shaped the design of Emaar One. One such insight was the rising popularity of voice notes as a mode of communication, which led to the introduction of a voice service request feature. The team conducted multiple discovery workshops with stakeholders at Emaar to fully understand the online and offline processes in place, and discovered new challenges right from login to property handover. These complexities were reduced to build flows that are delightful and intuitive.

The design of Emaar One has simplified multiple offline and online customer touch points into one consistent experience. The strategic and service design thinking applied has resulted in a smoother and friction-free interaction for customers. The app addresses pre-purchase, purchase, and post-purchase experiences of property buying for multiple types of users. This innovative design won the Silver A' Meta, Strategic and Service Design Award in 2019, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation.
