This project focuses on creating a logo design for CASEER (Center for Advanced School Education and Evidence-based Research), an organization dedicated to upgrading the teaching profession, improving education content, and developing school policies. The logo aims to visually convey the institution's commitment to solving real-world problems in the field of education.
The unique feature of this design lies in its incorporation of the Ginkgo leaf shape, which symbolizes expansion. The designer recognized the similarity between the outward expansion of Ginkgo leaves and the expansion of understanding, perspective, and curiosity that comes from education and research. By utilizing this symbol, the logo captures the essence of the University of Tokyo and its affiliated schools, known for their pursuit of knowledge and growth.
The Caseer Institution logo design showcases the importance of branding, particularly in the context of a university or research institution. It serves as a visual representation of the institution's values and goals, making it instantly recognizable and memorable.
This design project spanned three months, during which the logo underwent several presentations and iterations. The final result is a visually striking and meaningful logo that embodies the spirit of Caseer Institution.
The Caseer Institution logo design was recognized for its excellence and innovation, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category in 2020. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate a high level of professionalism, practicality, and innovation, contributing to a better world through their integration of industry best practices and technical excellence.
