Residential Apartment Designed by Tsan Hen Li

The Minimalist Elegance residential apartment, designed by Tsan Hen Li, is a stunning example of classical and delicate design. The ceiling moldings, seamlessly integrated with the walls, create a sense of unity within the indoor space. The public area of the apartment comprises the living room, dining room, and kitchen, while the personal area consists of the master and second bedrooms.

The unique strength of this design lies in its ability to be both modest and mature. The low color saturations and classical languages used throughout the apartment create an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication. The color palette primarily consists of black and white, further enhancing the timeless aesthetic.

The realization of this design is achieved through the use of exquisite materials and careful attention to detail. The foyer is adorned with a floral wall panel and chandelier that perfectly complement the gorgeous marble floor patterns. An artistic screen separates the dining room and foyer, adding a touch of elegance to the space. In the living room, glossy ebony and black titanium panels are extensively used, while a Scottish gray marble TV wall exudes luxury and poise.

The open-style study room, located behind the living room, features shimmering materials such as symmetrical bookcases, black marbles, and mirrors, creating a classical allure. The dining room is highlighted by slanted wall-mounted wine racks, which maximize space and add a unique design element.

The Minimalist Elegance apartment spans a total area of 201.6 square meters. It is located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and was completed in July 2018. The design team, led by Tsan Hen Li, meticulously researched and executed every aspect of the project, resulting in a harmonious blend of classical and contemporary design elements.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. The award acknowledges the well-designed, practical, and innovative nature of the Minimalist Elegance apartment. It is a testament to Tsan Hen Li's ability to integrate industry best practices and technical characteristics to create a space that brings fulfillment and positive feelings to its occupants.
