Huazhu Sales Center: A Veritable Art Gallery

Esther Mu's Design Transforms Sales Center into a Cultural Experience

The design inspiration for the Huazhu Sales Center came from the desire to create a relaxing environment for visitors. The use of glass walls provides a full view of the courtyard landscape, while materials with soothing textures were chosen to enhance the visitor's immersion in art and the beautiful scenery outside the window.

What sets the Huazhu Sales Center apart from other sales centers is its unique layout. In addition to the necessary negotiation and office areas, Esther Mu designed extra areas for blog lectures, tea, and reading to enrich the cultural experience of the space. This turns the process of visiting the sales center and enjoying the art into a spiritual enjoyment, thus making the space not just a courtyard, but a veritable art gallery.

Traditional Chinese culture is reflected in the interior design of the Huazhu Sales Center. The Chinese-style interior is decorated with a crane sculpture, an art corridor built by piling up countless books, and decorations of flying birds over the model area. These elements, along with the extensive use of Chinese colors, enhance the humanistic feelings of the space.

The Huazhu Sales Center was completed on 8th December 2018, after a five-month design and construction process. The project was a collaboration between the Nature Times Art Design Co., Ltd and Zhejiang Yoland Real Estate, Ltd. The design team, led by Esther Mu, included Wei Jinjing, Wei Yaocheng, and Zhang Huichao.

Despite the challenges of redefining the functions of a sales center and planning it into a future art gallery, Esther Mu's design was successful in creating a space that serves the purpose of sales while also enhancing the sense of quality of the space. The Huazhu Sales Center is a testament to the power of design in transforming spaces and creating unique experiences.
