Amer F 100: A Superyacht Redefining Luxury and Sustainability

The Amer F 100 stands out from other superyachts due to its unique design features. The exterior decor, designed by the yard, significantly reduces the fiberglass surface, resulting in larger windows and a brighter interior with panoramic sea views. The yacht's interior surface has increased due to the removal of an external lateral passage, and the prow area is accessible via a sea promenade from the cockpit. This design follows the blue mind philosophy, providing non-stop contact with the sea, whether the guest is in the cabins, saloon, galley, or bathrooms.

The design inspiration for the Amer F 100 came from a desire to use natural light as a decorative element and to maintain a strong technological push with the use of new technical materials for construction. The yacht has an elegant and sinuous livery, dressed in evening dark. Large crystal windows, like precious embedded diamonds, play with light and shadow to create an aesthetic intangible decor on matte and brilliant metallic surfaces. This play of light and shadow, along with the dancing sea reflections, mark the passage of time from sunrise to sunset on each deck.

The realization of this design was a technological challenge. The increased weight of the glass surfaces had to be balanced with the lightweight building materials and furniture. The natural brightness not only reduces energy consumption but also plays a chromatic role in the interior scenery, creating optical dynamic modifications thanks to artistic effects from sinuous geometries and reflections derived from different sunlight inclinations, sea waves, or moonlight. This maze of natural sensations returns to the purity of contemporary classic and endless style.

The Amer F 100 is not just a superyacht; it's an experience. It offers the possibility to live on board in high comfort and innovative Italian design with a special regard for the environment and the impact of natural light. The project started in December 2018 in Viareggio, Italy, and finished in May 2019. It was exhibited at the Cannes and Genova Boat Show in 2019.
