Marco Ferrari's Award-Winning Concept Yacht Merges Modernity with Classic Beauty

The Atlantico stands out for its focus on proportions and modern elegance. Ferrari's design aims at creating a low-profile yacht with extensive outdoor areas and spacious interiors, allowing guests to enjoy the sea view and stay connected with it. The yacht features an outdoor pool and a 7-metre indoor pool, and is powered by a hybrid propulsion system, highlighting the designer's commitment to sustainable design practices.

The yacht's construction plan involves the use of aluminium for both the hull and superstructure. This choice of material is intended to reduce weight and consumption, thereby minimizing pollution. The hybrid propulsion system further enhances the yacht's eco-friendliness, allowing it to visit remote and protected areas using only electric propulsion at low costs and vibrations.

The Atlantico is designed to accommodate 14 guests and 19 crew members. It includes a touch-and-go helideck, demonstrating Ferrari's attention to detail and commitment to providing a luxurious experience for the yacht's occupants. The yacht's technical specifications, including a fuel capacity of 150,000 litres and a fresh water capacity of 70,000 litres, further underline its capacity for long voyages.

The design process for the Atlantico began with extensive research in the nautical sector, which included studying various yachts and ships, as well as cars, planes, architecture, and nature. The aim was to create a design that combines green technology with elegant design, reflecting a vision for the future of yacht design. The result is a yacht that integrates seamlessly with nature, achieved through the use of glass and multiple folding balconies integrated into the hull, and a hybrid propulsion system that reduces pollution, noise, and vibrations.

The Atlantico's design has been recognized with a Silver A' Yacht and Marine Vessels Design Award in 2021.
