Touch the Sky: A Harmonious Office Space by Yong Zhang

Bringing Elegance and Minimalism to Modern Office Design

Yong Zhang's award-winning office design, "Touch the Sky," combines cultural elements with modern space, creating an elegant and minimalist environment that fosters creativity and productivity. This article delves into the unique features, inspirations, and technical aspects of this innovative design.

Yong Zhang's "Touch the Sky" is a testament to the power of minimalist design. The office space, devoid of excessive decoration, is dominated by a classic white tone that eliminates the usual office gloom. The strategic use of pure white and quiet black creates a harmonious transition between spaces, allowing the few objects in the room to command attention and stimulate the senses.

The design's inspiration stems from the idea of refining cultural elements and applying them to modern space. Green plants are used to bring life to the office, while the clean, free color scheme serves as a canvas for wandering thoughts. This approach leaves ample room for touch, a concept that is central to the design's philosophy.

One of the unique features of "Touch the Sky" is its conference room, designed with glass and shutters. This setup ensures mutual penetration and connection, enhancing the space's tension while preserving privacy. The interior features hanging art and the deep sensory effect of metal, creating a delicate artistic atmosphere. Multimedia devices are also incorporated to enhance the wall space's information radiation effect.

The project, which covers a total of 220 square meters, is divided into different areas to cater to teamwork needs and provide relaxation spaces. The design's interaction is rooted in the infinite possibilities of thought. Soft tones in the space inspire endless reverie, while ideas spread and interact within the space, giving creative ideas far-reaching enlightenment.

The design process, which started in January 2019 and concluded in May 2019 in Tianjin, was not without its challenges. To maximize the limited space and facilitate team innovation, the designers opened up a whole area of soft packaging materials. This allowed for the transmission of unknown elements and existing common sense memory, sparking the spread of creative thinking.

Yong Zhang's "Touch the Sky" is a shining example of how office space can be transformed into an art space. By adding modern humanistic elements, the design shapes a unique office temperament. It is a daily product of art, offering a different experience to those within the space. This innovative design was recognized with a Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020, a testament to its remarkable creativity and professional excellence.
