Parallel Remolding: A Harmonious Blend of Neoclassicism and Modernity

Wei Gao's Award-Winning Design for Zhongyin Royal Garden Sales Center

Unveiling the exquisite design of the Zhongyin Royal Garden Sales Center, a project that beautifully integrates nature and metal, traditional and modern aesthetics, under the creative leadership of designer Wei Gao.

Known as the "Spring City" for its abundance of springs, Jinan is home to the Zhongyin Royal Garden Sales Center, a project that mirrors the city's natural beauty. The design, led by Wei Gao, incorporates elements of stone and wood into metal, creating a space that is rich in texture and depth. The neoclassical atmosphere of the design is infused with a modern sentiment, replacing intricate carvings with simplified lines for a space that is both substantial and uncluttered.

The unique layout of the sales center follows functional requirements, achieving a concentrated and fluid integration. The open linkage zoning stretches the spatial pattern, allowing for interaction without interference. This design approach strikes a balance between art and practicality, recreating the warmth of life. The abundant line rhythm eliminates unnecessary programs, highlighting the quality of the space through an open pattern and creating a high-level spatial atmosphere.

The design process involved the use of large blank areas at the front desk, adorned with lines of metal texture. This minimalist approach leaves room for imagination. The designer expanded the understanding of form and space in the design of lamps and lanterns, giving the space a unique rhythm aesthetic through restacking, arranging, and combining.

The project, spanning a total of 500 square meters, is dominated by light colors to create a pleasant atmosphere. The walls are designed with a three-dimensional concave-convex geometric shape, enhancing the power and aesthetic of the space through architectural language. The negotiation area continues the core and diversity of the neoclassical style, emphasizing the combination of traditional and modern aesthetics, and realizing the expression of rationality and sensibility.

Wei Gao's design faced the challenge of integrating traditional and modern, elegant and simple aesthetic tastes. The book bar simplifies the complicated furniture design, and has three-dimensional aesthetics in the overall line design. The vertical and horizontal are full of order and detail features, showing the personalized aesthetic point of view and cultural taste in the post-industrial era, so that people enjoy the material civilization and get spiritual comfort at the same time.

The project, which began in November 2017 and was completed in March 2018 in Jinan, was awarded Bronze in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. The award recognizes outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness, contribute to quality of life improvements, and make the world a better place.
