Revolutionizing Educational Spaces: Tailong College by Black Lv

Injecting Vibrancy and Innovation into Traditional Learning Environments

Black Lv's Tailong College, a unique blend of traditional and modern design elements, challenges conventional educational spaces by incorporating the theme of "sound and color". This innovative design approach has earned the project a prestigious Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020.

Black Lv's design for Tailong College is a testament to the evolving needs of educational spaces in the new era. The design team, led by Liheng Wang, Jianyong Deng, and Shijiao Gao, has successfully transformed a traditional college into a vibrant and engaging learning environment. The project, covering a total of 12,000 square meters, is divided into three main areas: administrative office area, teaching classroom area, and living quarters for teachers and students.

The design team drew inspiration from the concept of "sound and color", using bright colors, pure materials, multiple layouts, smart display, and rich skills to create a lively and dynamic space. The color blocks in the space are part of the structure, determining the tonality of the space. They not only affect the visual perception but also remold the appeal of the space through the texture, gloss, and texture of materials.

One of the unique features of this design is its focus on creating a conducive learning environment. The classroom space is designed to shield external interference, helping teachers to teach better and students to focus more on listening and discussing. The teaching block takes "sound" as the theme, chooses introverted and relaxed gray as the keynote, and focuses on improving the spatial acoustics to prevent the vibration, focusing, and standing wave effects of sound, achieving better diaphragm and noise control.

The administrative office blocks, run by enterprises, are designed with an infusion of corporate culture. The top of the whole piece of wood with the wall, and the floor of the staggered depth of the stone, show a stable tone of black and white gray. The image of the implanted enterprise orange runs through the space, creating a spiritual world regardless of the form art is presented.

The design of the college hall is based on the service subject of the enterprise, the micro-enterprise customer, as the starting point. It combines the logo image of the enterprise's fish, with more than 1000 small fish assembled into a big fish. This reflects the designer's control over the scale of brand connotation, but also takes into account the fine expression of the college's beautiful vision. The soft furnishings ease the atmosphere with bright colors. Soft and comfortable sofas can combine to change different postures, showing a lively and concise negotiation scene.

Black Lv's Tailong College is a testament to the power of innovative design in transforming traditional educational spaces into vibrant and engaging learning environments. It serves as an inspiration for future designs in the field of education and beyond.
