Chao Yen Chen's inspiration for this project was to reconcile harsh senses with delicate features using circular and curved design methods. The aim was to simulate a futuristic commercial space, breaking away from the stereotypical impression of real estate sales centers. The design features wood veneers, metal tassels, and curved shapes, creating a smooth, relaxing, and fashionable indoor environment.

The property, spanning 622.9 square meters, is distinct from those with large indoor environments. The interior design of the sales center advocates unconventional design principles. The warm texture of woods and the smooth traffic flows have entirely changed the stereotypical impression on the regular real estate sales centers.

Key features of the design include a round reception counter composed of Apollo grey marbles and wire-brushed veneers, curved walls, and reception booths that resemble a café. The ceilings and walls decorated with curved wood veneers expose a sense of fluidity, consistently corresponding to the circular features of the round walls. The contrast of metal and wooden textures invents distinguishing charms.

The Unconventional Waltz has been recognized for its innovative design, winning the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020.
