Comfort For Life

The Royal Apartment, designed by Viacheslav Pytailo, is a stunning example of contemporary art-inspired living. Located in Ukraine, Kiev, this apartment showcases a perfect blend of comfort, simplicity, and luxury within its 64 square meters of space. Completed in 2019 by the SKS studio team, the design project and turnkey repair transformed the apartment into a stylish and functional living space.

The apartment features a spacious kitchen studio, spanning 33 square meters, which serves as the heart of the home. The design incorporates elements of modern classics with touches of gold, creating an elegant and timeless aesthetic. The walls of the apartment are adorned with paintings by Ukrainian artists, adding a unique and personal touch to the space.

One of the key challenges in this project was maximizing the use of the available space. The designers successfully re-planned the apartment to create an independent dressing room and two large closets, providing ample storage space. The narrow corridor was expanded, and the bedroom and living room were interchanged to optimize natural light and create a sense of openness throughout the entire space.

The Royal Apartment showcases a meticulous attention to detail and a combination of handmade elements and furniture from Italian factories. Venetian stucco and carefully selected marble complement the kitchen facades and floor tiles, adding a touch of luxury to the interior. The bedroom exudes coziness with fabric panels specially made to individual sketches, while the bathroom features Italian plumbing and mosaic accents.

Recognized for its exceptional design, the Royal Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2020 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award celebrates well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Royal Apartment stands out for its integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and its contribution to a better world.
