Marry Baroque

Wedding Rings

The path of marriage is not always straightforward, soft and harmonious. A marriage overcomes ups and downs and consists of an unimaginable number of irregularities. Mastering these with your partner makes life exciting. Exactly these emotions were captured in the baroque wedding rings.

The rings resemble a wild sea, which have been molded into the ring band using baroque forms. When worn, one notices how soft and supple the rings are, so that they never want to be taken off again. For the gentleman who might prefer to wear a simple wedding ring, a part of the baroque outer form was integrated into the inside of the ring as an inlay. This creates a symbiosis between the individual rings.

The rings were designed on a computer using CAD. The finishing and the final soft forms are achieved by the craftsmanship of a good goldsmith. The rings are made of different gold alloys 585/- and 750/- yellow, red, rose and white as well as platinum 950/-. Width: 7,5 mm, thickness: 2,5 mm.

During the development of the ring, special attention was paid to the arrangement of the baroque waves. Only through a multitude of experiments could the final shape of the wedding rings be perfected. Patience and repeatedly trying new combinations finally led to success.

The project started in May 2018 and ended in January 2019. The wedding rings are produced in Steinbach (Taunus), Germany. The baroque forms and waves of the ring had to be worked in such a way that the rings would look the same in different ring sizes. Many attempts had to be made before the final form was achieved.

The wedding rings are made of different gold alloys and platinum. The wave pattern on the outside reflects the emotions of a long relationship, while the inside of the ring is smooth and supple. The waves symbolize the highs and lows of a marriage and the unimaginable number of irregularities. For the wearer, these rings give remembrance to how exciting life with a partner can be.
