The SS Navigator watch collection was born out of a passion for marine style timepieces. Inspired by memories from six months on board the SS Navigator cruise ship, designer Martin Iglody incorporated key areas and nautical symbols into the design. The collection takes its name from the ship itself, paying homage to the inspiration behind these exquisite timepieces.

What sets the SS Navigator apart from other watches is its strong nautical theme and attention to detail. The collection features two distinct dial options - a blue sunburst with a nautical chart multi-layered dial or a wooden teak deck multi-layered dial. Both options exude a sense of sophistication and capture the essence of life at sea.

Each watch in the SS Navigator collection is meticulously crafted using high-quality materials. The case is made of 316L stainless steel, ensuring durability and longevity. The sapphire crystal glass protects the dial, case back, and crown, adding a touch of elegance to the timepiece.

Powered by a Peacock SL 5215 tourbillon self-winding movement, the SS Navigator offers precision and reliability. With 33 jewels and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, this watch is a testament to the craftsmanship and technical expertise behind its creation. The movement has a running time of 40 hours and features hours, minutes, and a small power reserve hand at 12 o'clock.

One of the standout features of the SS Navigator is its handcrafted crocodile or calfskin strap. The strap adds a luxurious touch to the watch and ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist. The combination of the strap, case, and dial creates a harmonious design that is both stylish and functional.

During the design process, the team faced several challenges, including implementing luminescent paint for the hour indices and hands. To overcome this challenge, they decided to use a thick dark blue navy color line in the middle of the indices and hands, allowing the luminescent paint to be applied on both sides. This technique not only solved the technical issue but also added a creative and visually appealing effect to the dial.
