The most significant hurdle was perfecting the advanced etching process, which required a delicate balance of multiple expertise in cover glass, chemical processes, DSLR lens coatings, and CNC polishing engineering. Even slight changes in temperature, materials, or timing could affect the final product's hardness, clarity, transmittance, and anti-glare balance.
