Erol Erdinchev was inspired to create the Linap Hanger due to the common problems associated with hanging outerwear and pants on ordinary hangers. These issues include instability over time and the stretching of clothing collars. Erdinchev also aimed to improve the visual style of hangers, resulting in a design that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional.
The Linap Hanger is made from a linear monolithic aluminum rod, without ties or additional elements. This contributes to its strength, clean style, and durability. Its unique design prevents the stretching of clothing collars and allows for easy and fast placement of pants without wrinkling or falling. Moreover, it offers up to 40% lower suspension height than traditional hangers.
Erdinchev's design is realized by bending 8mm diameter aluminum rods according to a template. The final product measures 438mm in width, 8mm in depth, and 175mm in height. The hanger's design includes holes that make it easy and fast to hang and insert any garment without stretching or falling.
The Linap Hanger project began on August 16, 2020, in Varbitsa, Tushovitsa and was completed on January 5, 2021. During the design process, Erdinchev faced challenges in choosing the right material and ensuring the hanger's stability without additional connections. However, through careful research and design iterations, he was able to overcome these obstacles.
The Linap Hanger is not just a functional tool but also a stylish accessory suitable for boutique stores. Its design was inspired by the paper clip, which is continuous and durable. This elegant clothes hanger provides solutions to some of the biggest problems associated with traditional hangers, making it a great product that facilitates the daily life of the end user.
In recognition of its innovative design and functionality, the Linap Hanger was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The Linap Hanger is indeed a testament to Erdinchev's remarkable design skills and his commitment to improving everyday life through thoughtful design.
