Bopo: A Unique Hand Sanitizer Bottle Design

Introducing the Bopo Hand Sanitizer Bottle by Jingyi Zhou

Designed by Jingyi Zhou, the Bopo hand sanitizer bottle stands out from the crowd with its unique form and functionality. Inspired by the connection between drinking and hand hygiene, Zhou wanted to create a design that would make people feel a sense of connection between different aspects of their lives.

One of the standout features of the Bopo bottle is its usage mode. Unlike traditional hand sanitizer bottles that require squeezing to dispense the liquid, the Bopo bottle utilizes a pressing mechanism, similar to using liquid soap. This not only provides a more convenient and controlled dispensing experience but also eliminates the risk of liquid overflow.

In terms of aesthetics, the Bopo bottle incorporates a sloped surface that mimics the sag caused by inserting a straw into a drink. This unique modeling technique adds a touch of visual interest and enhances the overall design. Additionally, the texture of the bottle body creates a realistic glass-like feel, further elevating the user experience.

The Bopo hand sanitizer bottle is made using the injection molding process, ensuring a high-quality and durable product. With dimensions of 88mm*88mm/213mm, it is compact enough to carry around while still providing an ample amount of hand sanitizer.

The Bopo hand sanitizer bottle was developed by Jingyi Zhou and Jinxiang Li, with the project starting in Zhengzhou in January 2020 and concluding in July 2020. It has received recognition for its outstanding design, winning the Iron A' Packaging Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate innovation, practicality, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements.
