Bellativita is a testament to the motto "less is more." The bag's simple and minimalistic design focuses on versatility, allowing it to be easily transformed from a night bag to a day bag and vice versa. The circular shape, which is the mother of all geometric shapes, is used as the foundation of the bag, while the colored puzzle checkered pattern is taken from Mondrian's paintings, symbolizing liberty and simple living.
One of the key strengths of Bellativita is its unique form and hidden lumbar strap, which provides a comfortable and secure fit. The systematic division of colors adds to the bag's aesthetic appeal and allows it to be paired with various styles. Whether worn as a waist bag, shoulder bag, or handheld, Bellativita exudes elegance and sophistication.
The realization of Bellativita involved careful selection of materials. The designer prioritized animal-friendly and hydrophobic fabrics, ensuring that the bag is resistant to water and stains. Synthetic fibers were used in the suite fabric, making it durable and easy to maintain. Adhesive pads and cardboard were utilized to strengthen the bag's structure, while leather embroidery adds a touch of luxury.
Measuring 210mm in diameter and 40mm in depth, Bellativita is compact yet spacious enough to hold essential items. Its simple operation allows for effortless transformation, making it a versatile accessory for any occasion. The main colors used in the bag's design enable it to be paired with various color themes, further enhancing its versatility.
The Bellativita project began in November 2018 in Tehran, with extensive research on minimalism and Piet Mondrian's works. The design process involved studying user preferences, creating prototypes, and making improvements based on ergonomic considerations. The final model was completed in July 2019, and Bellativita has not been exhibited before.
Bellativita has received recognition for its innovative design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Fashion and Travel Accessories category in 2021. This award acknowledges the bag's well-designed, practical, and innovative features, meeting professional and industrial requirements.
With Bellativita, Nasrin Bagheri has successfully created a fashionable and functional fanny bag that embodies simplicity, versatility, and elegance. This unique design is a testament to the designer's commitment to minimalism and her ability to break traditional structures in pursuit of innovation.
