Revolutionizing Karaoke: Bing Cai Cai's Leyang Party KTV

Blending Gothic Art and Modern Technology for a Unique Entertainment Experience

The Leyang Party KTV, designed by Bing Cai Cai, is a striking example of how art and technology can come together to create a unique entertainment space. The design draws inspiration from the exaggerated and complex gothic-style art approach, combined with modern technology. The result is a karaoke space that stands out from traditional KTVs with its unique style and charm.

Despite the relatively small space, Bing Cai Cai's design team managed to create a layout that caters to different thematic cultures and consumer segments. The main stage lighting backdrop, made up of LED lines of varying lengths, forms a surface that resembles a pair of feathery wings, creating a sense of an angelic presence.

The space is brought to life with LED digital lights that run through the space in various combinations. The blue base tone gives the space a cold and deep feel, filled with mystery. The black and white linear lights provide a futuristic technology sense, contrasting with the modern red light, creating a sense of time travel and making the space richer and more diverse.

The entrance hall features a reception desk set in the middle of four load-bearing pillars. The radiating light bands on the walls and pillars, together with the scene of the light and energy convergence from the projection of the giant screen on the ceiling, create a starting point of a time travel, sparking anticipation in visitors.

The design team faced challenges with the narrow and long aisles connecting the boxes. They overcame this by using red lighting that incites a desire to explore. Decorations extending from the wall to the ceiling resemble object distortions caused by a space-time disorder, adding depth and intrigue to the space.

The Leyang Party KTV project, located in Yun Nan, China, was completed in June 2020. It is a testament to Bing Cai Cai's forward-looking perspective in aesthetics and entertainment space design. The project was recognized with a Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation.
