Palazzo del Mare stands out from other residential designs with its custom bold pieces and striking architectural elements. The residence was designed to breathe new life into the space, creating a home that is both unique and a reflection of the client's style. One of the standout features is the one-of-a-kind red glass wall sculpture that is used throughout the house, highlighting key areas such as the foyer, dining room, hallways, and living room. The use of varied ceilings adds further interest and depth to the design.
The materials chosen for Palazzo del Mare play a crucial role in achieving the modern and clean look desired by the clients. Glass, natural stone, wenge wood, and various marbles are used throughout the house. Calacatta Gold, in particular, is used for the flooring, providing a luxurious touch. The master bathroom features an infinity tub with a mirror TV, allowing the client to enjoy a relaxing soak while catching up on their favorite shows. The master bedroom also boasts a rotating ceiling TV, ensuring that it can be viewed from any corner of the room. The home theater, on the other hand, features a 100" plasma television and leather padded walls for optimal acoustics.
With a total scale of 744 square meters, Palazzo del Mare offers a spacious and open floor plan. The seamless blending of spaces, achieved through the use of materials and pops of color, creates a dynamic and inviting atmosphere.
Located on Fisher Island in Miami, Florida, Palazzo del Mare was a project that started in January 2008 and was completed around January 2009.
