The Mix of Science and Aesthetics residence, designed by Kevin Chu, seamlessly combines the worlds of art and technology to create a truly unique living space. With a focus on intelligent technology and future living, this design showcases the perfect balance between aesthetics and rational science.

One of the standout features of this design is the emphasis on bright light and broad vision. The space exudes a fresh and energetic beauty that enhances the overall quality of the living environment. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with an elegant space that truly captures the essence of modern living.

But it's not just about aesthetics. Kevin Chu also prioritized the health and well-being of the residents. The project incorporates a BWT domestic water filter, utilizing cutting-edge magnesium technology from Germany. Additionally, an Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) system ensures a clean and comfortable environment, promoting a healthier lifestyle.

The Mix of Science and Aesthetics residence spans 150 square meters and is located in Taichung, Taiwan. The design team, led by Kevin Chu, carefully researched and planned every aspect of the space to optimize functionality and create a harmonious living experience.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was the integration of a large beam near the entrance. However, through creative problem-solving, the beam was cleverly hidden, allowing for a seamless separation of spaces. The use of thin marble bricks and oak veneer further enhances the overall aesthetic appeal, creating a majestic atmosphere.

This innovative design has been recognized for its excellence and creativity. The Mix of Science and Aesthetics residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that demonstrate resourcefulness, technical skill, and a commitment to improving quality of life.
