Plus X, a renowned design team, has redefined the gaming industry's branding experience with their innovative design for Krafton. Inspired by the crest of the Craft Guild of the Middle Ages, the design showcases a unique blend of consistency and uniqueness, offering a new perspective on brand architecture in the gaming world.

The Krafton design is a testament to the power of inspiration and the potential of innovative thinking. The design team at Plus X drew inspiration from the crest of the Craft Guild of the Middle Ages, a symbol of unity and craftsmanship. This inspiration led to the creation of a logo design system that expresses both the uniqueness and consistency of each alliance brand under Krafton, a feat that sets the design apart from others in the industry.

Plus X's design for Krafton is not just unique in its inspiration, but also in its realization. The design process involved the development of a brand value platform, visual identity, and brand design elements, all of which were carefully crafted to express Krafton's essence of "Ungravity". This essence is visualized through a shield-shaped frame, the basic form of a guild crest, providing Krafton with a differentiated brand experience across all touchpoints.

The design also boasts of unique properties that highlight the IP products provided by Krafton. This allows investors and the public to easily access them and improves management efficiency against issues. The design is versatile, with the formative characteristics of the symbol applied in various ways, providing a heavy and solid feeling with soft semigloss or matte materials.

The design team at Plus X faced significant challenges in creating a logo design system that could express both the uniqueness of each of Krafton's associated brands and the consistency of the group’s brand. However, they successfully built a design system that simultaneously shows the integrated image of the group brand and the unique image of each union company, embodying Krafton's value of “independence and cooperation”.

The Krafton design by Plus X is a shining example of how innovative thinking and a deep understanding of a brand's essence can lead to a design that not only stands out but also effectively communicates the brand's identity. The design has been recognized for its excellence, winning the Silver A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award in 2021.
