Hyacinth: A Blend of Chinese and Western Culture

An Elegant Interior Design by Tong-Yi Hu

In this case, the original wooden hue forms the base that encompasses the entire space, whereas the visual experience is both neutral and elegant. On the other hand, the compilation of the panel has a certain magic about it, in that it hides the storage space, but also renders the space as stylish, appearing both soft and soothing, quiet and introverted. As such, it has highlighted the artistic value of blending Chinese and Western culture, achieving an elegant life for the residents.

The Hyacinth design by Tong-Yi Hu is a stunning example of interior design that seamlessly blends Chinese and Western culture. With its unique combination of traditional and modern elements, this design creates a warm and inviting space that is both visually striking and functional.

One of the standout features of the Hyacinth design is the superb wall accompanied by molding, showcasing the advancement in artistry with beautiful styles. The use of various materials throughout the space adds to its abundant inner beauty, creating a harmonious blend of textures and colors.

The classical blend of Chinese and Western styles is evident from the moment you enter the foyer, where a large-scale ink painting is paired with a contour-profiled foyer cabinet. This exquisite mix of aesthetics sets the tone for the entire design, creating a sense of elegance and sophistication.

The living room features a symmetrical panel design and a magnificent marble-patterned wall, which serve as a kind of performing art that combines the traditional and the fashionable. This design approach continues in the dining room, where herringbone wooden floors, piercing iron-glass partitions, and a double-arc ceiling design create a deep and multi-layered spirit of originality.

Throughout the design, the attention to detail and texture of life is evident. The mix and match style feels realistic and natural, while the elegant and delicate lines of the American style add a touch of sophistication. The combination of metal elements and soft furnishings brings warmth and narrative to the space, creating a truly unique and inviting atmosphere.

The Hyacinth design project started in April 2020 in Taiwan and was completed in August 2020. It was exhibited in Taiwan, showcasing the beauty and creativity of this innovative interior design. The design has received recognition and acclaim, winning the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This award is a testament to the well-designed, practical, and innovative nature of the Hyacinth design.

With its blend of Chinese and Western culture, the Hyacinth design by Tong-Yi Hu offers a fresh and unique perspective on interior design. Its combination of traditional and modern elements, attention to detail, and use of various materials create a space that is both visually stunning and functional. This design truly exemplifies the artistic value of blending different cultures, resulting in an elegant and sophisticated lifestyle for its residents.
