Svetlogorie Residential House: A Harmonious Blend of Neat Forms and Softness

Interior Design by Alexandra Fedorova

Our goal was to create a space that would be interesting, memorable, and coherent even in the absence of decoration items. The volumes that flow smoothly into one another and provide a unified ensemble inspired us, filled with structural and functional objects of geometrical forms, and softened with natural materials.

The Svetlogorie Residential House, designed by Alexandra Fedorova, is a stunning example of interior design that seamlessly blends neat forms with softness and comfort. The project focuses on the unity of free planning and texture finishing materials, resulting in a space that is both visually appealing and functional.

The house features a two-storey layout with a total area of over 200 sqm. The first floor encompasses 102 sqm, while the second floor covers 90 sqm. A terrace adds an additional 18 sqm of outdoor space. The design team, led by Alexandra Fedorova, also included Polina Fedorova and Sergei Kaliuta.

The interior of the Svetlogorie Residential House is characterized by warm colors combined with dark gray and white, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. In the private area of the owners, silver-gray colors dominate, adding a touch of elegance. The use of wood for the decoration of ceilings sets the mood in the interior of this country house, while mirrors create an additional volume of space.

The project faced the challenge of creating an open space that unites all functional areas while hiding technical premises. The architects of Alexandra Fedorova's bureau achieved this by designing a combined space for the kitchen, dining, and living room, as well as a bedroom combined with a bathroom. The result is a harmonious blend of form and function.

The Svetlogorie Residential House project started in 2013 and was completed in 2014 in Moscow. The design has been recognized with the prestigious A' Design Award, winning the Bronze in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2016. This award is bestowed upon outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness, contributing to quality of life improvements.

With its unique blend of neat forms, softness, and comfort, the Svetlogorie Residential House stands as a testament to Alexandra Fedorova's talent and vision in interior design. The use of natural materials and the architectural study of the space create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere that is sure to impress.
