Ferdy: An Elegant and Stylish Side Table

Ferdy is an elegant and stylish side table designed to complement all types of chairs, particularly sofas. Its shape is derived from the observation of flags, where the inclined mast causes the banner to appear straight. Mezzetti aimed to create a table with a different and original shape that can be placed alongside or in front of a sofa or chair.

What sets Ferdy apart is its three shelves that contrast with the inclined lines of the structure. The table is constructed using a combination of different materials, including a metal structure, marble top and base, and a wooden central top. This combination creates a visually striking piece that stands out among other tables of its kind.

The construction of Ferdy involves the use of various materials. The main structure is made of matte satin painted metal, providing durability and a sleek finish. The top and base of the table are crafted from marble, adding a touch of luxury and elegance. The central top is made of wood, adding warmth and a natural element to the design. Ferdy is available in different colors to suit various interior styles and preferences.

The Ferdy side table was conceptualized and realized during the first lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020 in Rome. Despite the challenging circumstances, Mezzetti's creativity and passion for design resulted in this exceptional piece of furniture.

Ferdy has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 in the Furniture Design category.
