Marvellous Penthouse: A Fusion of Monochrome Elegance and Glamorous Details

The inspiration for the Marvellous Penthouse came from the client's desire for a design that combines a monochrome style with timeless elegance, while incorporating glamorous details and finishes. This challenge was met by IDEA International, who managed and executed an exclusive design that echoes in stylistic details, bespoke furnishings, carefully selected artworks, energizing natural lighting, and a polished sleek feel strived for in any luxurious private residence.

What sets the Marvellous Penthouse apart is its bespoke design. Almost every item, including the lighting feature in the living area, was designed by the IDEA team to create the ultimate in luxury living. The apartment was completely remodeled to suit the client's every desire, resulting in a stunning four-bedroom penthouse.

The realization of the design involved careful craftsmanship and structural indoor shaping of raw materials. The fluid forms shaping the space and the custom curved veneer furniture were selected to further enhance the luxurious feel of the environment. The ergonomic features in the space were molded to fit the user's needs, creating a luxurious experience.

The project started in June 2018 in Sofia and was completed in September 2019. The design process involved overcoming the challenge of the building's angular and sharp contour, which was in contradiction with the client's brief for an interior creating a sense of calm and warmth. The result is a design that seamlessly marries a monochrome style with timeless elegance, while adding glamorous details and finishes.

The Marvellous Penthouse is a testament to Alex Kovachev and his team's expertise and innovation. The design was awarded Silver in the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, a prestigious accolade rewarded to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
