Blending Modern Maximalism with Functionality

The Maxi Hall is a unique space that seamlessly blends different materials together to achieve its distinctive look. Wood, mirrors, marbles, and gold elements come together harmoniously, filling the interior with a cheerful and vibrant atmosphere. The highlight of the design is the geometrical water jet designed marble flooring, which adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space.

What sets the Maxi Hall apart from other designs is its ability to merge aesthetics with functionality. The designers carefully considered the needs of the space and incorporated elements that serve a purpose while still maintaining the luxurious look. The walls feature a mix of wooden veneer finished cladding and back-painted glass mirrors with geometrical patterns and gold stripes. This not only adds visual interest but also reflects the lighting effects, creating a mesmerizing ambiance.

The Maxi Hall's dimensions are impressive, with a width of 7m, depth of 19m, and a height of 12m. The designers took advantage of the height of the space, which connects different floors of the palace, to create a simple yet elegant look. They also cleverly concealed the air conditioning system, ensuring a comfortable environment without compromising the design aesthetic.

The Maxi Hall project began in February 2020 in Qatar and was completed in October 2023. Throughout the design process, the team at B5 Design conducted extensive research on modern maximalism, exploring new ways to use bold materials and shapes. Their aim was to redefine modern interior design and introduce a fresh perspective to the community.

The Maxi Hall has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2023 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is given to creations that demonstrate innovation, practicality, and adherence to industry standards. The Maxi Hall's integration of best practices and its ability to evoke positive emotions make it a true winner.
